During  Thanksgiving weekend, rumors swirled that Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon have called it quits, but Reese’s rep shot down the rumors last night.

“It’s not true. They have not split,” the rep said.

Reese and Jake met while working together on the 2007 film Rendition, and have kept their relationship ultra-private since they confirmed it in 2008.

Reese has two children, Ava, 10 and Deacon, 6, from her marriage to Ryan Phillippe, which ended in 2007.

Despite their low-profile status, Reese couldn’t help but mention Jake in the April 2009 issue of Elle magazine, saying: “He’s fabulous. He really is a fantastic guy.” (Us Magazine)
