Earlier this week in west London Prince Harry helped launch the first unaided trek to the North Pole for handicapped servicemen, and mentioned that he would like to take part in the expedition.
Harry is patron of the Walking with the Wounded charity that is organizing the four-week trek, which will see amputees hauling sleds over 300 miles across the frozen Arctic Ocean in temperatures down to -50C.

The 25-year-old philanthropist is hoping to join the team for a full five days in the Arctic. “You will be glad to know that if my military commitments allow me I would love to join the team," he stated.
