Daily Dish: Posh Spice Unveils New Dress Collection at Fashion Week

This season, Victoria Beckham designed dresses that she herself would wear

Victoria Beckham loves to wear tight, stream-lined dresses that accentuate her petite frame and little waist, so it's no wonder that her new dress collection that she debuted at Fashion Week yesterday was chock-full of these little numbers.

She held a small showing of her Spring/Summer 2010 collection at a trendy art gallery in downtown New York, where she presented and commented on each item for potential buyers and journalists. This collection, compared to her last two, was definitely more adventurous, and Victoria really took advantage of playing with bright colors and patterns, while still sticking to her personal preferences.

"I try on everything," she said. "I make the dresses for me." This makes sense as the former Spice Girl's line is only appropriate for the very skinny and very rich (some pieces are £3,900 -- that's about $6,400!).

And yet, the budding designer has been extremely successful and has entered the fashion world as a force to be reckoned with. Celebrity fans of her line include Elle Macpherson and Dannii Minogue, and her pieces have been known to sell out online. We think it's because women think if they dress like Victoria, they'll score a man like David Beckham -- we wouldn't mind testing that theory! (UK Daily Mail)
