In a move that is sure to cause quite an uproar, Planned Parenthood has penned a report called “Stand and Deliver” which supports the notion that children as young as 10 should be given extensive sex education – including a rundown on sexual pleasure.
The organization alleges that religious groups, mainly Muslims and Catholics, deny their children access to sufficient sexual programs and education.

“Young people's sexuality is still contentious for many religious institutions,” the report reads. “Fundamentalist and other religious groups — the Catholic Church and madrasas (Islamic Schools) for example — have imposed tremendous barriers that prevent young people, particularly, from obtaining information and services related to sex and reproduction. Currently, many religious teachings deny the pleasurable and positive aspects of sex."
The report also states that young children have a right to be informed about sexuality and birth control.
