Pasta with Seafood Sautéed in Garlic and Crushed Tomatoes

recent favorite pasta finds.

You’ll flip for the unusual taste combination going on here in this pasta dish – your choice of fish is seasoned with raisins, cinnamon and pine for a one-of-a-kind dish that will pleasantly surprise your taste buds.
Makes 4 Servings
Ingredients:
1/2 pound any type of short pasta, such as ziti or paccheri
1 clove garlic, sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves
1/2 pound your favorite seafood such as cuttlefish, shrimp, squid, etc
1/4 cup golden raisins
1/4 cup pine nuts
1 14-ounce can crushed tomatoes
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of red pepper flakes
Salt
Preparation:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
2. Meanwhile, in a large sauté pan, cook the garlic in olive oil until light golden. Add the parsley, seafood, raisins, pine nuts, tomatoes, and cinnamon and sauté until the seafood is cooked. Season to taste with red pepper flakes and salt.
3. Toss with the cooked pasta and serve.
