She may be this close to Robert Pattinson, but Kristen Stewart isn’t exactly best buddies with everyone she works with on the Twilight movies. BettyConfidential had an exclusive chat with Billy Burke, who plays Bella’s father, Charlie, at VH1’s Save the Music Big Shopping Event in NYC and he admitted that he’s closer with his movie daughter’s boyfriend than Kristen herself!

You shoot most of your scenes with Kristen. Are you two close — are there any similarities to a real father and daughter relationship?
I wouldn’t say we’re close. We get along really well. We don’t have a hugely close relationship that we hang out all the time, but we do hang out on set.

So who are you closest to on-set?
I actually have dinner and drinks more often with Rob [Pattinson] and Ashley [Greene, who plays Rob’s vampire sister]. My wife is close friends with Ashley, and Rachelle Lefevre is also a good friend. “

Rachelle (who plays the evil vampire Victoria in Twilight and New Moon) was replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard in Eclipse. Does Rachelle still speak with you since being let go from the film?
We are still friends and we do talk, even though things have changed.

What else are you working on besides the Twilight franchise?
As we were filming Eclipse, I finished doing two movies while they were doing one! The schedule worked out so I could do a movie in Detroit called Highland Park with Parker Posey and Danny Glover. It’s about a group of high school faculty members who think they won the lottery.

Will you be returning to your role on TBS’ My Boys this season?
I haven’t heard anything about that — I think this is their last season. But if they want me back, sure I’ll do it!
