An insider tells BettyConfidential that the 36-year-old, who is set to host the Emmy awards on Sunday, is looking into adopting a child. The source says that previously published reports that Neil and David were looking for a surrogate mom, as Sarah Jessica Parker did, are incorrect — Neil is following in the footsteps of other Hollywood stars like Angelina Jolie, Katherine Heigl and Meg Ryan and plans to adopt a baby from overseas.

Neil's rep did not respond to a request for comment, but the insider says that the couple, who’ve been together for five years since meeting when they both starred on Broadway, are looking into adopting a baby from a country like South Korea. “Neil didn’t want anyone to know, but he accidently admitted the process is already in the works,” the pal says.
