During a highly controversial interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show Monday, Mo’Nique’s brother Gerald Imes admitted to having abused his little sister over a period of a few years when they were both children.

Imes had hoped that by doing the interview he would be able to reconnect with his estranged sibling, but no such luck.

RadarOnline.com is reporting that the Precious star, who agreed to the sit-down, is furious with the way it turned out and feels that her brother lied through his teeth.

“She was particularly upset that Gerald lied to Oprah that he molested her while she was sleeping because she was wide awake and scared of him,” a source divulged. “Also, she is angry that he did not get any help or enter a rehab and she does not trust him around children.”

Oprah has since asked the actress if she would be willing to appear on the show in order to clear the air. Mo’Nique’s response? Fat chance.

“If anything it has made the situation worse between Mo’Nique and her family and she doesn’t know if she will ever speak to them again now.”
