Mean Betty hears that Paris Hilton is quite put out at the gaggle of Kardashian sisters who, after being propelled to stardom merely by being Paris Hilton’s BFFs, are now thanklessly leaving Paris behind in the shadows of their glossy hair, ample rears and reality show deals. The nerve!

Page Six reports (gleefully): "Paris is furious that Kim got her start by hanging out in Hollywood with her -- and now, the Kardashians have it all, the reality shows, the magazine covers, the big appearance fees and promotional deals."

So what’s a girl to do? Paris, apparently, is trying to take a page out of Nicole Richie’s book and “go legit.”

Page Six’s source says: "Paris has realized ... she's got to ditch the pink Bentley and concentrate on developing herself."



Good Lord, no! Whatever happens, Paris, DO NOT DITCH THE PINK BENTLEY! What is the word coming to when our heiresses have to drive sensible cars?

Even more ominously, Page Six says, "She’s hatched a plan to boost her brand by pushing a new beauty line and make herself more likable by playing down her lavish lifestyle."

What? No, no – don't play it down! You're famous for being a vapid, spoiled twit – don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater!

Mean Betty feels an intervention is necessary. Poor Paris Hilton doesn’t understand that no one wants her to “develop herself.”  Mean Betty would just hate to see her throw her “career” away by trying to become dull and sensible when it is the very opposite that is called for!
