Mario Lopez and girlfriend Courtney Mazza are expecting their first child together, but apparently, it took a lot of work to get to this point. Page Six is reporting that Lopez, who started dating Mazza in 2008, encouraged her to get into shape before the two went public as a couple.

"Getting into shape" reportedly included hiring a daily personal trainer and undergoing liposuction and breast implant procedures. Talk about a self-esteem boost!

"[Lopez] encouraged [Mazza] to work out with a trainer every day," a source tells Page Six. "She underwent a boob job and liposuction last spring. Once her body was perfect, he arranged for them to be photographed on a beach."

Lopez's rep denies these allegations, saying the couple is in love and "focusing on the birth of their first child." But one can't deny the fact that Lopez is obsessed with his own body image – the Extra host admits to working out constantly. Would you put it past him to tell his girlfriend to tone up?
