Lost: Now and Then
In a parallel universe, Lost’s stars are back on Oceanic flight 815 this season. But do they look the same as they did six years ago?

With the final season of Lost now in full swing, the show is up to its old tricks again, confusing viewers —and the cast— alike. “There’s some head-scratchers,” admits Jorge Garcia, who plays Hurley. The survivors of Oceanic 815 are now spinning in two parallel universes—one where Jack, Kate and Sawyer are still on the Island and another where the plane crash didn’t happen and everyone landed safely in Los Angeles. Putting the cast back on board meant Lost’s makeup and wardrobe departments had to painstakingly recreate what they looked like in 2004. Did they get things right? Let’s go back in time:

After sporting a buzz-cut for most of the first few seasons, Jack (Matthew Fox) gained quite a bit of hair in the new universe. Maybe he joined Hair Club for Men?

Being arrested for murder is enough to curl anyone’s hair, but in 2010, fugitive Kate’s (Evangeline Lilly) locks look much more relaxed.

Josh Holloway vows to get his trademark tresses cut after Lost ends. Maybe then he’ll look more like his clean-cut character of six years ago rather than the scruffy Sawyer of today.

Oooh, I bet this will have the Lost conspiracy theorists foaming at the mouth
