Lindsay Lohan and Sam Ronson: It's Complicated

The starlet is still spending time with her DJ ex

Lindsay Lohan is not nearly over her ex girlfriend of almost two years, Samantha Ronson. The two are still seeing each other - almost daily - and Lindsay has tried to coerce Sam into letting her stay the night. Friends say that Sam is sticking to their breakup but is having a hard time putting her foot down when Lindsay asks to visit. The two still argue frequently, but are far from the destructive patterns they once believed were a normal part of their relationship.

"The good news is that they are not harming each other anymore because the slamming doors and screaming fights do seem to be over. Sam will not tolerate that kind of behavior and Lindsay knows she is only invited into Sam's house when she's calm and wants to hang out. The bad news is that they've never really stopped talking and neither one is over the breakup. From the first day of the breakup they were communicating via phone and it's hard for Sam to imagine cutting Lindsay out completely."

The dynamic duo is no longer traveling together and any plans Sam originally had for visiting Lindsay while she films The Other Side, on the East Coast, have been forgotten.

"Lindsay's ego has taken a hit these last few months in her personal and professional life and she really is trying to be better, stable and thoughtful. She will pour herself into the movie and deliver the best performance she can. It's been a tough time, but she is committed to her career again."
