New Orleans MC Lil Wayne underwent dental surgery earlier this week … for eight solid hours.

Insiders tell TMZ that the colorful rapper had multiple tooth implants redone and more implants added Tuesday afternoon. Oh and the one or two real teeth he has left were repaired.

In all, Lil Wayne endured eight root canals in one sitting (the only upside being he doesn’t have to head to prison until March 2).

Geez, and we thought going to the dentist couldn’t possibly get any worse! (TMZ)
