You'd expect more from parents and school teachers who are adults and are supposed to know the difference between right and wrong. But apparently, that's not the case in Fulton, Mississippi, where the majority of Constance McMillen's classmates, with the help of their parents, completely embarrassed the lesbian teen on prom night in true Mean Girls style.

We've been following McMillen's story since it began, when school officials at Itawamba Agricultural High School canceled prom because she wanted to bring her girlfriend as her date. Backed by the ACLU, McMillen brought her school to trial, where a judge deemed the 18-year-old's constitutional rights had been violated. Although there was no official order for the school to reinstate the prom, it was understood that McMillen was invited to the makeshift prom being organized by parents.

So, on a Friday night, McMillen got ready for her prom with her date by her side, only to walk into a country club with seven other of her classmates inside – that's it.

And where was everybody else? Oh, at the "secret" prom organized by parents at a completely different location, to which McMillen and the seven other students, two with learning disabilities, weren't invited. Their message was clear; their tactics completely hateful and childish – we wonder how these parents and students sleep at night.
