After hearing that Maura Tierney was diagnosed with breast cancer in July, fans of Parenthood were left to wonder who would fill her shoes.
The guessing game has finally come to an end as Variety is reporting that Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham is stepping in for Tierney.
The lovely actress will play a single mother with two teenage kids who moves back to her parents' place in order to renew her life. Tierney had done a wonderful job in the pilot, and will hopefully approve of Graham’s portrayal.
