Dropping nearly 50 lbs. for her wedding day was a great way for KayCee Stroh to start off her marriage. The High School Musical star made her way down the aisle in a custom silk, size 12 gown, glowing as she married her sweetheart, producer Ben Higginson. But within months the pounds she had so diligently lost crept back on.

Fed up with her repeated pattern of losing and regaining, KayCee knew she had to do something drastic. That's how the good girl wound up on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club, along side some of the most notorious stars around. A shocking choice for this Disney princess, but KayCee tells BettyConfidential she knew it was the perfect way to have her fairy tale ending of losing the weight for good.

How much weight did you gain back after your wedding?
About seven months after my wedding, I had gained back about 30 lbs. I had been a size 12, and all sudden it was, "Why am I wearing 18s again?"

What caused you to gain the weight back?
Everybody says once you get married you get comfortable. And I clicked into good wife mode. I was cooking meals and desserts every night and putting on these Martha Stewart dinners. It definitely caught up to me.

It had nothing to do with the blood clot that left you bed-ridden a few years back?
The first time I gained 50 lbs., it was because of the knee surgery and the clot. But this time I owned it. Even my husband put on 30 to 40 lbs. It was that homegrown Utah cooking! I make a really good enchilada bake. It's cheese and sour cream and fat, fat, fat!
