The Jon & Kate Plus 8 Star lets slip that she had ‘a meltdown’ over the weekend

While we got cozy in front of the tube with a bucket of popcorn and a packet of Milk Duds on Sunday during the ever-zany VMAs, Kate Gosselin was more or less having a crisis of faith.
The mother of eight acted as a guest co-host on ABC’s The View on Monday morning, at which point she was asked how she deals with Jon bringing his new gal, Hailey Glassman, around their brood.
“This is definitely, I’m not going to lie, difficult,” Gosselin told Sherri Shepherd. “The truth, for the sake of my children, I’m going to take the high road.”
Although Kate wishes to remain tip-lipped on the subject, or at least for now, she did reveal that she endured “a meltdown” this past weekend.
