Sorry Jonny, your ship has sailed!

After months of embarrassing shenanigans and super tacky duds, TLC has announced that Jon Gosselin is slowly being weaned off of his own show. The network is allegedly fed up with the father of eight and now wants to work more closely with his soon-to-be ex-wife.

Kate Plus 8 starts on November 2nd and will focus on the lives of the Gosselin kids as well as the single mother who watches over them. What’s more, a Kate Gosselin program is already in place for TLC’s 2010 programming lineup.

"Given the recent changes in the family dynamics, it only makes sense for us to refresh and recalibrate the program to keep pace with the family,” reps for TLC released in a statement. “The family has evolved and we are attempting to evolve with it; we feel that Kate’s journey really resonates with our viewers.”

Translation: People are fed up with Jon’s juvenile antics, and are ready for more Kate! (RadarOnline.com)
