Yoko Ono is being slammed for allowing images of the late John Lennon to be used in a UK advertisement for the Citroen DS3 hatchback, and her son is sick of it.
Sean Lennon is now hitting back at reports that claim he and his mother are cashing-in on the musician's legacy.
“Look, TV ad was not for money,” he voiced via Twitter. “It's just hard to find new ways to keep Dad in the new world. Not many things as effective as TV. Having just seen the ad I realise why people are mad. But intention was not financial, was simply wanting to keep him out there in the world.”
