Prepare to spend your summer GTL-ing: Jersey Shore will return for another season with the whole cast intact!

The cast has resolved their contract negotiations with MTV, and Snooki, The Situation, Pauly D, J-Woww, Sammi, Ronnie and Vinnie will all return. But this season, they will lose everyone’s favorite eighth character: Seaside Heights!

The not-from-Jersey Jersey Shore stars will “escape the cold northeast and find themselves in a new destination,” according to a statement from MTV. The network’s president of programming Tony DiSanto explained why they just coouldn’t go on without the whole cast in a statement: “Our audience has fallen in love with Jersey Shore and its amazing cast who have really grown together as a family… That bond gives the show its heart, and we’re thrilled to reunite these friends.”

If by “that bond” DiSanto means hairspray and fistfights, then he is correct. New episodes will air this summer, but you can watch the whole first season before the Superbowl kicks off this coming Sunday, February 7.
