We were so excited when we heard earlier today that Jennifer Aniston was going to be hosting a talk show, but our hopes were dashed when her rep swooped in and discredited the story.

London’s Daily Express newspaper had reported that Jen was to headline a weekly talk show for Oprah’s new cable channel OWN, and that the project was to be picked up sometime next year.

Unfortunately that is not the case.

"OWN is not in discussions with Jennifer Aniston to host a weekly talk show," the star’s spokesperson told UsMagazine.com on Monday afternoon.

Well, at least Jen’s former Friends costars are making a return to the small screen ... that gives us something to look forward to. (UsMagazine.com)
