A source tells BettyConfidential that Tyra Banks is planning a wedding in New York this weekend.

Is Tyra Banks getting married this weekend? The talk show host, who is known for being vocal about pretty much everything, has been remarkably tight-lipped about her love life, but there were rumors last year that she and longtime boyfriend, businessman John Utendahl, were engaged after she sported a ring on her left hand.
Tyra quickly shot down the rumor, but today an insider tells BettyConfidential that the America’s Next Top Model host is throwing a wedding at Alder Manor in Yonkers on Sunday — Valentine’s Day.
Located 30 minutes from Manhattan, the mansion was featured in the film The Royal Tenenbaums, and is rented out for events. It seats up to 250 guests and has fresco-covered walls that give it a wistful, Victorian feel.
The wedding planner clearly has old-fashioned romance in mind. “They have ordered thousands of white and peach roses for the wedding,” the insider says.
But could this floral extravagance — estimated to be well in excess of $20,000 — simply be for an episode of her talk show? “No way,” says a former Tyra Show employee. “They don’t even have bagels in the green room!”
But Tyra did throw a wedding at the end of this week for one lucky couple at the Pavilion on Crystal Lake in Middletown, CT, that was designed by celeb party planner and host of My Fair Wedding, David Tutera. So, the plot thickens…. But what better way to throw the press and paparazzi off the scent than to throw a show wedding just days before your real one? Sneaky!

Tyra, 36, and John, 52, have been dating since 2007, and the former supermodel reportedly moved her show from L.A. to New York City that same year in order to be closer to him (which she also denied).
While a rep for Alder Manor said that to “the best of my knowledge” there wasn’t a wedding scheduled on Sunday, and Tyra’s rep did not respond to an email request for comment, we’re hoping that it’s true.
