Is Katherine Heigl Finished with Grey’s Anatomy?

It seems the actress hasn’t been spotted in months – at least, not on the show’s set.

Katherine Heigl has disappeared – from the set of Grey’s Anatomy, that is. The actress took off for three months of maternity leave, but was due back on March 1.

“She was not there,” a source told People. Heigl’s character Dr. Izzie Stevens hasn’t appeared in recent episodes, but was expected to return at some point. Now rumors indicate Heigl may have left the show.

Heigl has made her problems with the show very public for years now, and has never hidden the fact that she’d rather make films than stay on the show. According to Entertainment Weekly, Heigl is being released from her contract early, and will not return to Grey’s – ever. Heigl’s lawyers are allegedly hashing out an agreement.
