Kate Gosselin may smile for the cameras, but insiders say the camera-loving mom has adopted an attitude since she started rehearsals for the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars.

“Kate doesn’t want anything to do with other contestants,” a source from the show said. “While there’s a lot of camaraderie among the crew and other stars including Pamela Anderson, Kate has set herself apart…She wants to be the queen bee.”

The source added that Kate has been a “total diva,” but another source from the show had to disagree.

“She’s been rehearsing in Pennsylvania to be near her kids,” the source said. “For the short time she was in LA, she and the cast got along great.”
