During a lively chat with Good Morning America, California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said world policymakers should not have to choose between economic growth and a clean environment.
Schwarzenegger thinks those concerned about climate change ought to look to universities, companies and “ordinary folks” instead of putting so much emphasis on a multinational consensus.
At one point he took a shot at Sarah Palin, who supposedly does not believe in global warming.
"You have to ask: what was she trying to accomplish?” He told the Financial Times. “Is she really interested in this subject or is she interested in her career and in winning the nomination [for president]?"
Last Wednesday Al Gore got into a scuffle with Palin over the validity of climate change science. Who will be taking a swipe at the former Alaska Governor next? (Huffington Post)
