Gotta Have It: Rodarte for Target
You have two chances to get your hands on this limited-edition designer collection.
Whenever there’s a new designer collection debuting at Target, you’re either waiting in line at 8 a.m. to have first dibs on the limited-edition items, or you’re showing up just a few hours too late and leaving empty-handed. In light of the holiday season, Target is making your wishes come true by giving you two chances to shop the new and highly covetable Rodarte for Target collection.
Natalie Portman, Michelle Obama, Reese Witherspoon and Cate Blanchett are all fans of Rodarte, a designer label known for romantic and intricate designs that can only be found in expensive retailers like Barneys New York and Bergdorf Goodman… until now.
Some lucky die-hard fashionistas will be able to get their hands on some of Rodarte’s signature designs before they hit Target stores nationwide, thanks to the Target To-Go pop-up shops in New York City, San Francisco and Washington D.C.
On Friday, December 11 through Sunday, December 13, shoppers will be able to walk up to one of these three pop-up locations between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. to get great deals on 50 of the hottest holiday gifts, order them by number, and have them pre-gift wrapped and ready to go in a jiffy. Better still, items can be delivered straight to your door, and NYC customers who spend $100 or more can get free same-day delivery between Battery Park and 99th Street.
The items available in Target To-Go pop-up shops will include toys, electronics, DVDs, jewelry, cosmetics, and clothing. But, everybody is buzzing over the fact that four pieces from the Rodarte for Target collection will be available for purchase, including the Sequin Ribcage Dress (above right, $49.99), the Black Halter Dress ($39.99), the Slip Dress in Peach (above left in black, $39.99), and the cute Bow Belts (above, $12.99). Who says all of your holiday shopping this season has to be for somebody else?
To get first dibs on these items, book it to one of the following areas for this three-day-only holiday event:
New York City: Gansevoort St. & Washington St., At High Line Entrance
San Francisco: 5th St. Between Market St. & Mission St., Mint Plaza
Washington D.C.: M St. & Wisconsin Ave., Georgetown
If you’re unable to make it to the Target To-Go event, you’ll have your own chance to shop the Rodarte collection in Target stores nationwide and on target.com starting on December 20. The entire 55-piece collection will be up for grabs, including rock star-worthy lace tights, cut-out knee highs, tulle skirts, leopard-print dresses, swimwear and funky cardigans, all from $9.99 to $79.99.
