BettyConfidential caught up Precious star (and Golden Globe nominee) Gabourey Sidibe at the Duracell Smart Power Lab in Times Square last week. Gabby, as she likes being called, dished on her dream co-star, who made her laugh on the set of Precious, and her love for Britney Spears’ ex-boyfriend.

On filming Precious:
“I was like a puppy on the set of Precious. I was just so happy to be there. Everyone was really cool on-set, but Lenny Kravitz was insanely hilarious. He may be a rock star, but my stomach would hurt, I would laugh so hard listening to him.”

On Mariah Carey’s transformation:
“Mariah’s a pretty girl and would come to set looking great. She would have a little makeup on and they really turned her from a positive to a negative. They turned the Mariah light down in the makeup chair.”

On being nominated for a Golden Globe:
“Good Morning America had a feeling I would be nominated for the Golden Globe, so they set up a satellite feed for me. I think they thought my reaction would be kind of awesome and… it was!”

“It was amazing watching it on TV with my roommate, Adam, and I felt like they got Justin Timberlake on purpose because I’m a huge fan. Then he announced it. As if they got JT for me – I think everything’s about me, though!

“I am a huge Justin Timberlake and *NSYNC fan. I would see them in New York and even on the road. I would drive to Florida every summer to see their charity basketball games. I went to the one in Indiana.”

On her dream co-star:
“I’d really like to work with Reese Witherspoon. She’s such a go-to actress for me, I super-admire her. Maybe a romantic comedy – she can be my funny best friend and I’ll be the romantic lead!”
