Amanda Seyfried

PopEater.com has a great item about what Amanda Seyfried goes through to stay svelte enough to be a movie star. And I say … FINALLY! Enough of this “Oh I just do yoga three times a week and talk long walks on the beach with my dog and try to limit sweets” nonsense we so often hear from A-List celeb women.

Seyfried, who appears in Esquire this month wearing a lace body stocking, told the mag all about her “awful” raw food diet she sticks to in order to stay thin enough to be considered cast-worthy.

"It's intense. And sort of awful … Yesterday for lunch? Spinach. Just Spinach. Spinach and some seeds."

You hear that? Spinach and seeds.

PopEater also points to Seyfried’s confession to Glamour magazine this month: "If I didn't run and work out, there's no way I would be this thin … But I have to stay in shape because I'm an actress. It's f****d up and it's twisted, but I wouldn't get the roles otherwise. If I'd been a bit bigger, I don't think they would have cast me for Mamma Mia!"

F****d up is indeed the word – but at least she’s coming out and telling it like it is! (PopEater.com)

She looks great. Spinach and seeds agree with her! I wish her well and also wish I had her discipline.

Shame on you, Stylebird. Spinach and seeds do not make up a healthy meal.
