Elizabeth Edwards may be heart-broken over her husband’s affair with Rielle Hunter, but she isn’t letting that stand in the way of making John Edwards do what’s right for his love child, the National Enquirer is reporting.

The Enquirer, which was the first to break the story about John’s cheating, also revealed that Elizabeth is planning on meeting little 2-year-old Frances and that she’s insisting that John pay his former mistress $18,000 a month in child support in order to avoid an ugly court battle.

“Elizabeth feels that above all else, John and Rielle need to put their differences aside,” an inside source said.

“Despite her anger at Rielle, who she's painted as a stalker and a homewrecker, Elizabeth knows Frances didn't bring any of this about…  Elizabeth sometimes breaks down in tears when she talks about Frances. Once she said, ‘She needs a daddy.’” (National Enquirer)
