Daily Dish: Dancing with the Stars Couple Splits
Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskly won't dance their way to the altar after all

You can twirl each other through the air to a cheesy song, but it won’t save your relationship. Case in point, Dancing with the Stars’ Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskly have called it quits.
The couple had a wedding in the works for June 2010 since their engagement back in December, but they postponed it because of their “busy schedules.” Now, it seems as if there were more reasons for pushing the date back.
Perhaps the two just grew sick of each other after spending so much time together. Besides working side-by-side on Dancing with the Stars, the couple also shared a summer gig in Burn the Floor on Broadway, and told reporters that they did everything else together as well.
"He's a Capricorn. I'm a Capricorn,” Karina has said. “We'll swim together or do Bikram yoga or go to the gym and get a great workout.”
