As the cover girl of the November issue of Elle, Katie Holmes dishes a lot about her personal and professional life. But readers are perhaps most surprised by the fact that the fashionable mommy isn't the only one calling the shots when it comes to her trendy ensembles.

Katie tells Elle that her husband, Tom Cruise, will often advise her on what  to wear and what not to wear. "Tom has great taste," she tells the magazine. "He usually likes everything, but sometimes I'll walk out and he'll say, 'I think that dress might be wearing you. You don't need that,'" she says.

We wonder if Tom's fashion authority also dictates what 3-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise wears. We can just imagine him saying, "Suri, go change. You look like a baby in that outfit." (NY Daily News)
