Will these two ever lay low? Sources say that Kate Gosselin filed a petition to receive alimony from her estranged husband, Jon.

Did Jon finally get a job, you ask? Of course not! Kate filed the petition after claiming that he withdrew $230,000 from their joint bank account without consulting her. Jon said Kate is “hiding money,” and that her claim was a lie.

We can’t help but wonder if either of them will ever just throw their hands up and end this game of chicken for the sake of their kids, who are “acting out… to get attention from their parents,” according to Us Weekly.

Update: Jon has filed court papers admitting that he withdrew money from the joint account he shares with Kate, but alleging that Kate withdrew money from the account as well. The papers also claim that Kate is hiding money from Jon, and that far from being broke, she had access to roughly $1 million.

The papers also allege that Kate failed to submit an account of her expenditures between June 22 and July 6 as required, and that she refuses to give Jon written permission to access their accounts online. (Radar)
