Jon Gosselin’s 22-year-old girlfriend Hailey Glassman says her relationship isn’t as happy as it looks in the tabloids, despite the fact that she and Jon were seen laughing and smiling during a romantic carriage ride in New York’s Central Park just last week.

In an interview that’s set to air tonight and Friday night, Hailey told the hosts of The Insider, “We’re at a point now where I don’t know why I love him.”

Hailey claims Jon abuses her emotionally, that he is “like Jekyll and Hyde,” and has even lied to her and her mother.

“He’ll call me and take his anger out on me,” Haily said, claiming that Jon is “angry and frustrated” with his estranged wife Kate Gosselin and his public divorce. “He has ‘mantrums’. I shouldn’t have to put up with being emotionally abused. I cry and say, ‘Why are you so mean to me?’ He takes it out on me.”

Hailey dissolved into tears as she discussed her newfound fame.

“I’ve put my entire life on hold, and everywhere I go people are whispering and pointing, like ‘There’s the homewrecker’.”

“I can’t be a normal 22-year-old, I can’t have friends,” she added. “I want my name to be forgotten.”

Allegations of abuse are extremely serious, but you have to wonder – if she wants to stay out of the spotlight so badly, why would she take to The Insider to air her grievances, instead of a therapist who could actually help her? (The Insider, Us Magazine)
