Daily Dish: Hailey Glassman and Michael Lohan May Testify in TLC Lawsuit

TLC subpoenas Jon Gosselin’s allies in breach of contract lawsuit against him.

What do Hailey Glassman and Michael Lohan have in common (other than a desire to bask in the glow of someone else’s spotlight)? They’re both close to Jon Gosselin, and thus will subpoenaed in a breach of contract lawsuit TLC, the network that distributes Jon & Kate Plus 8, filed against Jon in mid-October.

TLC contests that Jon has been making television appearances (and even cashing in on some of them) without the network’s permission. Jon’s attorney Mark Heller fired back, saying that TLC “exploited, manipulated and abused the Gosselins’ vulnerability and financial hardship.”

Right, Jon and Kate were “manipulated” into doing a show, books and public appearances. We’re sure they were also somehow “manipulated” into buying a massive $1.1 million home on 24 acres of land, too.

Jon’s attorney will likely also be called to the stand in the Montgomery County, Md. case, along with his manager, bodyguard and, ahem, talent representative. Good luck, Jon! (People)
