Hailey Glassman made a dramatic appearance on The Insider last week, where she claimed that her boyfriend ex Jon Gosselin emotionally abused her. She took to Twitter on Sunday to defend herself against potential attackers.

“If I’m disliked and hated on, fine,” Hailey wrote. “I just want to thank everyone for their support. I was brutally honest and put everything out on the table in front of the world.”

Hailey added, “at least I know in my heart I spoke the truth so now I’m OK with your judgment.”

Meanwhile, Jon released a long statement to Entertainment Tonight to confirm his breakup with Hailey.

“[Hailey] has given up her happiness the last 7 months and taken the brunt of my anger and the world’s disappointment of Kate and I separating for my well-being,” Jon’s statement read.

Jon also said that Hailey has been hurt by her public anger toward her.

“She has not been happy and hates the media light that she has been put in.”

Jon wrote that he will always love Hailey, but that they agreed to take a break.

“I thank Hailey and her family and my fans for support and always being there.”

Jon let this statement slip before prancing off to an appearance with Rabbi Shmuley. Who, you ask, is Rabbi Schmuley Boteach? Why, he’s “America’s Rabbi,” of course! He hosts TLC’s Shalom in the Home, and is making appearances with Jon Gosselin! We’re a little skeptical of this pairing, but it sounds like he had some good advice for Jon.

“I have advised him to end it with Hailey,” Rabbi Shmuley told the New York Post. “It is unacceptable to be in a relationship when he is still married and has to take care of kids who are hurting. It is not a healthy relationship.” Gee, ya think? (ETOnline.com, Us Magazine, Page Six)
