
An Indian couple was each sentenced to three months in a Dubai jail after a string of text messages suggested the lovers planned to “commit sin” – a reference to an extramarital affair.
The unsuspecting Emirates airlines employees were first handed a six-month sentence, which was later reduced by an appeals court after the ruling stated that there wasn’t enough evidence to establish whether the couple had been sneaking around.

According to court documents, the texts (or sexts) turned up in a divorce lawsuit by the unnamed woman’s estranged husband. (The Telegraph)
