Celebrities get them all the time, and now, one in three babies born in America are delivered via C-section, the most popular surgical procedure in the country.

The reasons for the increase in the procedure vary – a C-section poses less complications than regular childbirth, and is sometimes necessary for twins and multiples. Also, some doctors have been performing the surgery in order to avoid lawsuits. And of course, some mothers prefer the procedure over a long and painful labor.
But, one can't forget a C-section is still a major surgical procedure that has potential complications of its own. (ABC News)
