Lawyers and various individuals tied in with Britney Spears’ conservatorship case have been getting together to assess the singer’s progress with the hope of permanently terminating the conservatorship.

The 28-year-old’s father, Jamie Spears, is permitted to put in his two cents, though the decision of whether or not Brit is able to take care of herself will ultimately be up to the court appointed psychiatrist.

One of Jamie’s biggest worries is that his daughter will allow shady ex-boyfriend Sam Lutfi back into her life. Luckily it appears he can rest easy, for Brit Brit has hitched her wagon to a seemingly wonderful man – agent/lover Jason Trawick.

The two have reportedly grown so close that the pop star “doesn’t have a doubt in her mind that she wants to spend the rest of her life with Jason,” a source told OK! magazine.

Brit was spotted in Beverly Hills this past weekend, wearing a shiny new ring on her engagement finger. Potential freedom and a great relationship? Sounds like she’s cleaning up to us!
