Brad and Angelina Gave $7 Million to Charities in 2008
These A-listers deserve a round of applause for all their contributions.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie lead exceptionally privileged lives and it would be easy for them to sit on their billions without giving a hoot about the rest of the world.
Fortunately these stylish (we’re trying to ignore Pitt’s goatee) stars have hearts of gold which lead them to give back in a very generous way.
In 2008 alone the Jolie-Pitt Foundation donated $6.8 million to such charities as Human Rights Watch, Global Health, the Armed Services YMCA and Brad’s Make It Right Foundation — devoted to rebuilding New Orleans.
The lovebirds made sure to give $1 million to numerous causes in Cambodia as well (the birth place of their son Maddox). No one can ever accuse these two of being stingy with their money! (People)
