Best-Dressed at the People’s Choice Awards
The stars sparkled as they walked the red carpet last night.

It’s not the most exciting awards night (think Oscars!), but the People’s Choice Awards offered plenty of enjoyment for fans and fashionistas last night. Colors ranged from golden metallics to sexy neutrals to brilliant pops of purple, tangerine and red. While the big accessory of the night was chandelier earrings — almost every star from Queen Latifah to Lea Michele sported a big statement pair — the worst one was worn by Nicole Kidman (below), whose lacy motorcycle gloves made it look like she had dirty Band-Aids on her hands. Ew! But let’s not focus on the negative; last night there were lots of looks to be positively jealous of!

Carrie Underwood (above), in a Christian Cota dress, won the award for Favorite Country Artist, and joked that she was so excited about winning that she almost tripped on her way to the podium.

Private Practice’s Kate Walsh sparkled in a vintage gold beaded empire waist mini that she picked out that afternoon from LA retro clothing boutique Decades.

Taylor Swift’s year started off with a bang when she won for Favorite Female Artist, and she looked as adorable as she always does in her age-appropriate, white beaded tube dress and silver Christian Louboutin heels.

Oooh Olivia Wilde’s dress is divine! Definitely my favorite. This is a fun night of fashion!
Ick. Nicole Kidman’s gloves.
ok im not a big taylor swift fan but her dress was def. by far the cutest! then carrie! but i love carrie
Actually, Sandra Bullock looks great! Mariah Carey, not so much. I’m cool with the over the top cleavage as that’s her look. But if you can’t walk and climb stairs on your own, say no to the dress. Ditto to Kate Walsh. The green tint to the sequins with the gold is a bit too holiday in post holiday time period and if you can’t walk down a ramp in the shoes, say no to the shoes!
Sandra Bullock would have looked better with her hair back. Otherwise, the dress is nice.
Love you, Johnny Depp. You look fabulous in anything!
I don’t like Sandra’s dress. It’s nearly a non-color, and when she was talking, I kept thinking, “pull up the other sleeve.”
Love Olivia Wilde’s dress.
Sandra Bullock is beautiful and looks great on the Golden Globes tonight, but that flesh-toned frock is hideous and looks cheap. I’m a huge fan of Glee and Amber Riley looks gorgeous, as does her fellow cast mate! Mariah is well, Mariah. Over-the-top cleavage and tacky dress that isn’t functional to boot. Ugh! Carrie Underwood always looks stunning and she doesn’t disappoint this time either. Johnny Depp is scrumptious in almost anything.
