The couple that plays together… lasts awhile? Avril Lavigne is now dating Andrew Levitas, friend to the Ronson clan and an actor and NYC club owner. The two spent a few weeks together over the holidays and are getting very serious.

“Avril and Andrew are all over each other all the time. They make out in public and are pretty carefree about their relationship,” an insider tells BettyConfidential. “They were in Aspen and were dirty dancing and kissing in front of everyone. Avril was pretty comfortable partying in front of everyone at the bar next to the Little Nell Hotel. It was outrageous and caused a scene and many raised eyebrows! Nasty.”

Avril, 25, is currently in a fight with her husband of three years, Deryck Whibley, who she is in the process of divorcing. Avril is reportedly refusing to pay spousal support and because Deryck, 29, acted as a producer on her new album, he is holding up the release of her new music.

“Avril is done with Deryck and she is so frustrated with the divorce and fight over the album,” the insider says. “She wants to get the new music out but she doesn’t realize she is going to have to give up some things to get her way with Deryck and wrap it all up. She’s playing around with Andrew and having fun, but she is ready to promote a new album.”
