Actor Leaves Show Because of Sex Scene
Neal McDonough refuses to compromise his principles.

This might be a first! Neal McDonough, of Desperate Housewives fame, left the new ABC show Soundrels three days into filming because he refused to do a sex scene. The Catholic, married father-of three has refused to do sex scenes throughout his career. He reportedly lost himself a million dollars by sticking to his guns and refusing to film the scene with actress Virginia Madison.
ABC is calling this a “casting change.”
So is Neal crazy? Or admirable? Would your opinion change if this were an actress making the same move? (RadarOnline)

A million dollars is not a lot of money anymore. He’ll make it up with other roles and I am sure he will end up with a lot of press from this…maybe it was a strategic (principled) career move.
I just wonder what he knew about the role when he signed on.
Jim Caviezel is also Catholic and turns down roles because of his faith.
