ABC kicked American Idol alum Adam Lambert to the curb after his controversial American Music Awards performance, but now the network wants him back!
Read Adam Lambert: Smart or Stupid?
Adam was named one of Barbara Walters’ 10 most fascinating people of 2009 for her annual special, and was part of the program all along. But now he will not only appear on The View on Thursday – the day after the special airs – he will also get to perform a song!
Though Adam never formally apologized to ABC for pulling his appearances, he told his fans via Twitter, “Don’t blame them” for dropping him like a hot potato, blaming Federal Communication Commission pressure and potential fines.
We’re guessing ABC is expecting serious ratings for Adams appearances. Ad revenue really does heal all wounds. (Us Magazine)
