Parents of children at W. L. Chenery Middle School in Massachusetts are horrified to learn that an 8th grade boy who received a nude picture text message from his 8th grade girlfriend on his cell phone, has been selling the photo to friends for $5 a pop.
The school's Superintendent, Dr. George Entwistle III, issued a statement saying, "While this discovery was made at school, it involved activity that happened outside school."
But suspension or expulsion may be the least of the 8th grade boy's worries. A formal investigation of the incident has started at the District Attorney's office, as the taking and selling of this nude photo may violate child pornography laws, since both parties involved are obviously not of legal age.
