Lea Michele

Unfortunately, we’re not like Lea Michele, who can call upon a stylist to fix her hair in an instant. Fortunately for us, there are fantastic products that will fix hair emergencies in a matter of moments. You won’t miss any parties with these babies in your beauty arsenal.

Color

1. Can’t get into your stylist’s chair for color? Try Kelly Van Gogh Master Blend multi-dimensional luxury hair colour kit ($19.95, kellyvangogh.com). This hair color repairs hair while it colors it, because it contains omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamins A, C and D and amino acids. It’s easy to use, has a goof-proof applicator and gives you great color in less than an hour! With the money you save, you could buy yourself a present!

2. Your roots are showing and you don’t like it. Grab a bottle of L’Oreal Paris Root Rescue 10 minute root coloring kit ($6.98, lorealparisusa.com) and in a few minutes, your hair will return to its glory. This kit covers gray and has a low ammonia content, so it won’t damage your hair. L’Oreal Paris Root Rescue comes in 12 shades.

3. Your lowlights are missing, and you can’t find them. Grab a marker and fill them in! Seriously, TouchBack ($29.95, colormetrics.com/touchback/buy) is hair color in a magic marker style type wand and it dries in one minute. The color won’t rub off, but since it doesn’t contain ammonia or peroxide, it will last until your next wash. Pick from 8 shades.

Has anyone tried the updo tool yet? If its as easy to use as it seems, it would be a great time saver while trying to get ready with my one year old.
