Rapunzel fans, rejoice: the gal with 70 feet of glowing locks was the tenth inductee into the Disney Princess Royal Court in London on October 2.

In attendance were an army of over 100 little princesses from 25 different countries and their queen moms–including Nicole Richie and her family– and current court characters like Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, and Snow White. The little girls (dressed as little princesses, of course!) lined up to watch nine horse-drawn carriages bring the princess to Kensington Palace and witness the crowning of Rapunzel by Fairy God Mother and Flynn Rider.

"Today's celebration was vibrant, energetic and fun, just like our newest addition to the Disney Princess family herself," said Anne Gates, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Disney Consumer Products. "Girls everywhere have admired Princess Rapunzel for her curiosity and imagination and now they can continue to celebrate her strengths and story with her induction into the Disney Princess royal court."

Held at the majestic Kensington Palace in London, one family from Virginia was invited to partake in the festivities. Laurie Senio and her three little girls, the winners of Disney’s a “Princess Moment” video contest, witnessed Rapunzel’s royal induction as part of their dreamy vacation. Lucky duck!

Before the big event, more than 25,000 of the princess’ fans attended a short procession at Queen’s Gate. But don’t worry if you couldn’t catch a flight out to the UK at a moment’s notice –from now on, Rapunzel will grace Disney Princess products and even score her own separate line.
