2011 Emmys Countdown: The Good Wife’s Julianna Margulies!
Outstanding Actress in a Drama? Harvey votes for Julianna Margulies!
My 2011 Emmys Countdown continues with one of the hottest, most empowered women in television today. She’s a very chic woman that quite honestly, I wouldn’t want to oppose in any boardroom or court room! My mind drifts back to another fabulous actress who told the executives at Pepsi Cola not to mess with her. And no, she didn’t use the word “MESS” either. Yes darlings! Julianna Margulies is as gorgeous and dynamic as the legendary Joan Crawford.
I first took notice of Ms. Margulies like many of you when she played nurse Carol Hathaway on the NBC medical drama ER. Beyond fabulous! Here’s a clip to jog your memory!
My true love for her was sealed when she portrayed Morgaine in the delicious mini-series The Mists of Avalon! Haven’t seen it? Netflixx it immediately!
Now — the dish on the CBS series The Good Wife. Julianna plays an attorney returning to legal practice after her husband (played by Chris Noth from Sex and the City) resigns as Illinois State Attorney amidst a sex and corruption scandal. She plays such a range of emotion it’s no wonder she’s nominated … and this year she should win!
Good luck Julianna! See you on the Red Carpet!
