Okay Gorgeous! The 2011 Emmy Awards Show is just moments away and we need to support the girls who should win those gold statues of fabulousness! Over the next weeks I'll be highlighting the goddesses who I believe are the best in their category. I'm starting with my pick for Best Actress In a Comedy. Let's take a closer look at this comedy genius, Amy Poehler!

First off she's just beyond cute with her bubbly, sarcastic sense of humor and a dash of innocence and naivete that you can't help falling in love with. Born Amy Meredith Poehler, she grew up in Burlington Massachusetts and graduated from Boston College in 1993. Amy's married to comic genius Will Arnett from the critical comedy hit Arrested Development.

Amy honed her comedic skills and timing a long side the fabulous Tina Fey in Chicago at Second City, the legendary improv venue where many greats got their start. Now I know that Tina Fey is also nominated this year, but it's Amy's turn!

And finally the reason she should win the Emmy!

3. From her brilliant sitcom Parks and Recreation, an episode called "The Fight," which she also wrote. She plays a drunk fighting with her girlfriend so true to life you think you were actually at that bar. Or at least it will make you think of a drunk fight you've had with a girlfriend in the past!
