2011 Celebrity Hair Do’s (Like Riri and Kim K) and Dont’s !Like Xtina)!
Some celebs like Emma Watson, Rihanna and Taylor Swift were (ahem) head and shoulders above the rest in 2011. And some were … not.
With the end of the year at our heels, it’s easy to reminisce about all of the celebrity antics gone by. We remember fabulous fashion and beauty must-haves, but we can’t forget about all of the hair hits and misses! From hot short hairdos to bangs to disastrous hair messes, we’ve got a rundown of what we DO and DON’T want to see repeated in the New Year!
The country songstress has a simple, classic style that perfectly complements her blonde tresses. Recently she switched up her style and cut bold bangs. The new look added definition and maturity to her face, reflecting her rising career. A girl has to jazz it up every now and then!
There’s a lot we can say about those Kardashians, but we must admit, reluctantly, their hair is always flawless. Kim takes the lead with her full, voluminous locks. Whether worn in loose waves or pulled back into a ponytail or bun, her hair is always perfection. Now if she could just translate all that goodness to the rest of her life…
One thing we can count on is that we never know what ‘do Rihanna will wear next! From a short asymmetrical bob to a sexy Mohawk to her current fire red locks, she always has us guessing. In 2011 she kept fans happy with a stream of great party hits — we’re sure she’ll keep it up in 2012!
We can’t have a 2011 hair roundup without mentioning Emma Watson’s short cut. The short ‘do came about after her role as Hermoine Granger officially ended with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Since, she has emerged as a gorgeous young talent, with fabulous hair! Emma is one of the few celebrities to wear the super short pixie cut beautifully. Think she’ll grow it out in 2012?
Earlier in the year Jennifer Aniston decided to trade her long locks for a choppy mid-length bob. The cut was a sexy and chic change from her usual ‘do and we all loved it!
