1. Vanessa is an Aquarius. She was born on January 30, 1937. At 74-years-old, Vanessa is still rocking the acting world.

2. Laurence Olivier announced her birth to the audience at a performance of Hamlet at the Old Vic, when he said that Laertes (played by her father Sir Michael Redgrave) had a daughter.

3. She has a real life love-delayed story:  She met Franco Nero in 1966 on the set of the movie musical Camelot. She was playing Guinevere and he was playing Lancelot.They had a son, Carlo Nero, now a director, in 1969. They then went their separate ways, but always stayed close. In 1996, the two rekindled their love affair and married later that year.

4. Her father, Sir Michael Redgrave, a celebrated stage actor, came out as bisexual.

5. In 1967, she was made a Commander (CBE) of the Order of the British Empire. It was reported that she declined a damehood in 1999.
